I've been looking at it myself, put it on the way back burner due to the difficulty of getting the interior piping and photoetching right. But when I scratchbuilt mine, I copied a Keystone Locomotive Works HO kit, measuring every major part to N scale. So I KNOW it can be done and I'm looking forward to seeing what you've done. Everybody with one of my little Climaxes needs one!

How do you order from that website? I can't seem to get anything to work. He is also now listing a small shay, but is labeled not for sale.

Just click "add to cart".

They are 3D models that are printed out in resin. Frosted Ultra Detail (FUD) is the finest material that Shapeways can print.

As for the shay, it is un-powered. You could contact the guy and see if he will sell you one. Anyone who can draw in 3D can upload a file and have it printed.
