I am wondering if any model train mfgs have accessories of bar stools with the padded cushion seats like Lionel came out with a couple of years ago. I seem to remember a steel stool with a red seat bearing the emblem of either Atlas, Athearn or Micro Trains. Please tell me if I am crazy, nuts or perhaps just feable in memory cells. Any guidance is appreciated in advance. Thanks

Are you describing N scale or 1:1 scale stools? I can't imagine seeing emblems on top of N scale stools.

Advertising on bar stools seems just a tad perverse, if you ask me. Unless it is on a bar stool with a back rest, with the advertising on the back rest.

I've seen the Lionel stools Okie is talking about. They're conventional padded bar stools on chrome legs. It's a logo affinity "fan" premium item - things like hats, T-shirts, jackets, coffee mugs - more typically seen in the car and motorcycle world, the stools intended to be used as theme decor. I would be seriously surprised if a "true" model RR manufacturer did something like this, versus a Lionel which has a stronger brand ID outside of MRR.

I'd love one from our hosts!!!!
A great idea. When I built my first layout in N, it was chest level. I said to wife at time, a nice swivel bar stool would be great. Needs armrests, too.
Never found one I liked.
It would be about time.

As long as Craig doesn't try modeling it himself!

Sounds good to me! Well, we'd have to discuss the clientele who would wear it... :P

Easy
to find clientele. Print the full name, not the acronym. The diesel graphic would be fully ignored. I could picture a bunch of undiscovered Hollywood model/actress types using that subliminal message for thier headshots...
