Dave's web link is by far the best Chessie website out there.

Yes, Dean Heacock's Chessie and CSX Photo Archives (at http://www.trainweb.org/csxphotos/ ) are very tough to beat. We Chessie and CSX fans are fortunate to have them.

Enjoy. That site is a trip back to my childhood when I lived next to the Toledo, OH-Lansing, MI Chessie mainline from 1974-1981. Such wonderful times.

Hello;

WOW, what a site!!!!

My wife had been complaining she couldn't get any work out of me before. I was a real fireball back then compared to what I'm going to me now. I wonder what she's going to say now that I've been directed to this side?
Oh, The Golden Years. How wonderful.
thanks.

I use that site when I need to verify stuff for an engine or caboose. Great tool.

Every time I use his sites for reference I think exactly the same thing.

I'm appreciative of the fact someone has taken the time to provide such easy access to comprehensive references for my favorite roads.

When you couple the above sites with http://rrpicturearchives.net you get the C&O, B&O, WM, ACL, SBD, etc pieces of the puzzle as well.
