I have a code 80 custom turnout that has a point rail that has come loose. Short of cutting out and replacing is there any fix for this. Tks Kirk

I repaired one with a PC board throwbar, but that was a pain. The problem is how to solder the points without melting the adjacent plastic ties. Unless you've soldered your rail joints, I'd replace the turnout.
