Here is a couple bridges from the Bufflo, Creek & Gauley in West Virginia.

This one was used by both trains and autos.

Twice weekly train bringing Honda's from new plant in Greensburg Indiana down to Queensgate in Cincinnati on the old Big 4. Too bad the sun wasn;t on the other side of teh bridge. The big block lettered "New York Central" is still very visible.

I posted bridge photos last week, but here's another one:

Yesterday NS train 12T derailed five tank cars as it was pulling west out of Binghamton NY. A piece of rail had
broken off, the train was going at 9 MPH and traveled about 60 feet after going into emergency. This tank car
was built in 2009--presumably to the new construction standards, which may have saved a bit of trouble. Chlorine
can get nasty when it leaks.

Finally, here's a scan of a lousy 1980's slide that I had discarded but was still lying around after all these
years. It was taken at Prince WV.

Uh...Skip, check the bottom of the first page of the "Trains In Pics -- Bridges" thread. I see 5 or 6 photos I posted.
That must mean I'm back on the hook, although that doesn't sound very pleasant. (Or is it the "not cross posting" part that got me in trouble?)

Thanks Mike. We actually had dinner there back at Christmastime, at La Fondue du Prince, but it was dark and we couldn't see the bridges well when we got off the highway. We are heading up in a few weeks and will be visiting there again for dinner. Can't wait to visit Hobby Jct. and Dorval again!

"...friends?" Yes, of course! I was just teasing and probably should have put in some emoticons.

This series was taken at East Deerfield, Mass last Friday.

Local entering west end of East Deerfield yard.

My wife took the next 2 photos.
