| Try Baldwin.....Big switchers....wish it was an AS616, but I'd bet they're the big Centercabs. |
An AS616 would be appreciated. |

Though I doubt I'll actually see Atlas release my GP40-2W at this show... I am close to buying a basement, err house, so what better way to push that back than raiding my savings with a GP40-2W? |

Atlas, Please Release a CN GP40-2L(W) in N! To do one in HO and not N is beyond cruel torture.

N scale: Gensets from our gracious hosts. Turbines from Athearn. Gevos from Intermountain. AC4400s from BLMA. E5 Shinkansen from Kato. Kenworth T2000 from Deluxe. ... and a $3,000 model railroad tax credit from the government to help us pay for it all!

Just today I got audited by the State Tax for 2006 , and they want 2300 bucks more in a age 59 1/2 issue . They are wrong and I can prove it , well 10 months of it . So much for a tax credit of 3K . Even so , bring on those turbines , S switchers , AS-616 , and the H-20-44 . |

E5s from Kato!!!! Wow!!! Oh, the SHINKANSEN E5 (not the Stainless Steel CB&Q kind!!!). Nevermind!
However, there are some sharp people who post in this forum that are going to get their wishes.... if not on this go-around, in the future, building on what is happening soon.
What Fun!!!

I'm getting my 1964 Rambler Ambassador 9 passenger station wagon? Wow Charlie, that's great. What color options? I need wine red with a white roof.
Okay, okay. So it's not as exciting as the S-2. But we've all (or most, anyway) have said we need more US prototype vehicles to populate our N-scale highways. |

Charlie,
I wish I was going to be at Trainfest this year. Sounds like it will be most exciting for N scale. You also seem more excited than usual......mmmmmm. |
An AS616 would be appreciated. |

| Might be a working catenary (sp) system , thats been asked for to complete the GG1 . Milw Road used juice so that would please that venue , ie blow the roof off the joint . The build on the " What is happening soon " statement could be pacific north west juice jacks , more roof blowing enthusiasm . All from Kato , and now re-focusing on their coast of choice . If this comes to be , and it is at this point a total guess , it would mean Kato has a cure to their pantograph's that flop fore or aft with top friction . |

Well I'm making the long trip from Alaska to attend Trainfest so I hope that this is something that a Milwaukee Road modeler can use....like a H12-44. Kinda doubt it but...maybe a rib side caboose or the Hiawatha in N! That would be cool. Maybe Walthers will recognize the letter N? I will try to post some photos of the roof coming off.
Best wishes, Dave |

A Milwaukee Road passenger train from Kato announced in Milwaukee?
Complete with Little Joes or Bi-Polar electrics?
that'd be my guess.
The Alco S2 would also be cool.
Big Baldwin Centercabs would be the best, these would definitely blow the roof off the building. |

Try and bring something to run if you like. Otherwise I'm sure there will be a train or two you can run on the Modutrak layout. :) |

Thanks for the offer Jamie! I would love to have a chance to run a train on the Modutrak line. I don't know if I will be able to bring anything to run as I am adding this on to a business trip and will be packing light. I'll be there on Saturday as I have tickets to Green Bay-Dallas on Sunday. I look forward to having the chance to meet you and your fellow MR fans.
Best wishes, Dave |
