Kits as in brass sides? I have used a bunch of sides to modify Bachmann and Model power cars.

Don't know if you wanted any of their resin kit pics. These still need decaled, but are my favorite pass cars despite their imperfections. Chuck

Thanks Cyclone, I didn't realize that they did resin cars in addition to the brass sides.

Oh yeah, I do have a few of their resin shells that I built up. They were mostly knock offs of some brass release. I have some El Capitan High Level coachs, a CB&Q baggage car and another baggage car that appears to be made from a master where they bashed two baggage compartments together from the old Atlas Rivarossi baggage dorm cars. They have very thick walls and deep windows so they were never used much. Here is one of El Cap cars. The roof is kind of warped. I milled out the walls to make them thinner and built my own interior.

Russ,

Again, nice job representing the "home road".
Wondering what brand/color paint on the RPO/Bag? Microscale decals?? Thanks!

Thanks. I don't remember what I used to paint the coach but it is darker than what I usually like. The baggage and RPO were both painted with Model flex Great Northern Green.
The decals were some I had custom made a long time ago because Microscale only made them in gold. Lately Microscale has come out with set # 60-1165 that are Dulux or imitation gold. I just bought some of those but have not used them yet.

Nice El Cap car. I had a chance to buy a couple of them years ago (including the transition car), but they weren't on my "got to have" list or in the bargain bin, so I passed on them. Should have gotten them, haven't seen them since.

I'm not sure if these were JnJ. They were "seconds" that I bought at a train show decades ago. Rough resin castings that needed a lot of work. They appear to be direct knock offs from a Santa Fe set, probably brass. I sold them all years ago.

That last one has a dome frame I gleaned from a Bachmann super dome. The original casting was awful. I never had any of the original floors, either. I scabbed together what I could just to hold the trucks (those that I put trucks on).

FYI, these were part of the old 1980's era Laurel Valley layout with Amtrak service provided on the Conrail interchange... I pulled the baggage and the coach behind a Life Like F40PH along with some Bachmann Amtubes. These all went away around 2000 when I started the current WM late 60's layout.

Hey Mark,
I finally found some time to take some photos.

Here is my JnJ corrugated baggage car (brass sides over Con-Cor smoothside car).

Rest of the photos are of unbuild items.

Both resin car bodies and the dining car sides are available for sale if someone is interested.
