Is this car going to be in the regular Atlas line with all the great details we can get? Or is this a Trainman offering with basic, but still worthy detail?

Is there a target release? Say a year-ish? Less than or more than? Just an idea y'all have agreed upon and the Research and development still leave this a few years out? Some sort of hint here would be pretty nice.

Great looking proto-photo on the link!!

Neat car, I see them in the finishing section of the Cold Mill at SeverStal Dearborn, regularly. Unfortunately, they are to modern for me.

Will be great for modern modelers. Not my cup of tea, I'm afraid.

Finally a modern steel coil car. I hope they are inline with the quality of the Red Caboose coil cars.

And to think, I was just about to the point where I was going to wind down my freight car purchases!

Atlas,

This is a great announcement but please keep it in the Master Line and try to keep it under 35.00. I'll buy a few for sure as it fits the modern period perfectly. After this announcement, do you have anything left for the National Train show in July? Hopefully, there are a couple of vehicles to be announced, one in the Master Line, one in the Main Street Motors line!

WOW! This came out of nowhere!

I can use several of these. Master Line, I hope!

Red Caboose has set the Bar, I think Atlas can top it!

Absolutely fantastic! They will be brand new in the late-'90s era that I model, but count me in for every CSX number that you guys are willing to produce! I'm hoping 3 in each run. Let me know if you guys need any more photos. Thanks a lot, Atlas!

Not much use to a Guilford modeler such as myself, but I think this is an excellent choice of car. Atlas is spoiling us with announcements at the moment!
