“This line will appeal to the traditional O-27 O gauge operator,” said Jim Weaver, vice-president of Atlas O. “Industrial Rail™ products are well built and offer value and good quality in their price range.” “The acquisition of this O-27 Traditional Sized Line expands our appeal to all segments of O gauge model railroading.” He said the line will expand in 2007 to include locomotives, new freight cars, an Industrial Rail™ track system and more.
Atlas O is currently working on a new, 30-page catalog strictly for Industrial Rail™ products. This 4” x 10” catalog will feature large, colorful photos and artwork of all freight car road names. A summary of Industrial Rail™ by Atlas O products will also appear in the next regular Atlas O catalog, scheduled for release in October 2006. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price, (MSRP), for all freight cars is either $27.95 or $32.95, depending on the body style. Details and updates can currently be found on www.atlaso.com and www.atlaso.com/nowshipping.htm .
“Industrial Rail™ trains are designed to be a rugged and reliable value priced line to be enjoyed by train lovers of all ages,” said Thomas W. Haedrich, CEO of Atlas O, LLC. But that’s just the beginning, as more items are currently in the planning and production stages. Mr. Haedrich said the competitively priced line will offer parents more options for equipping layouts shared by family members of all ages. “It’s the beginning of an extensive line,” he added.
The Industrial Rail™ rolling stock line, which also includes a trolley and handcar, forms the foundation of the newest line of Atlas O products – O-27 Traditional Sized Line – which joins the high-end Master Line™ and mid-level, affordable, scale-sized Trainman™ line.
