Thought we forgot about this. I am in no way going to become a regular with this, so Njoy!
Notice the number of wires above. Let's see some Ncat modules with this much overhead wires...

Not sure if the MARC GP40-2 wide hood is tired and wants to take a break while the SW pushes it, or if the GP40 is pushing the old tired SW...

Shot over 20+ yrs ago at the Glendale, CA depot...SP oilcans (empty) heading back to Bakersfield. The train just got the "High Ball" signal from Burbank Jct operator to head RR west (north).

Confirmed Armchair Modeler for the past 26 years now...

The second story of Tower 17 arriving at its new home at the Railroad Museum in Rosenberg, Texas.
The first story walls are being rebuilt around the cribbing used to hold the second story in place. The windows are being sent out for restoration off site.

It's good to see 4 axle units on intermodals again. This is NS 213 at Manville NJ in February. NJT shot was taken a week earlier.

Here I am holding the train , to prevent it to run away ...

Security people where everywhere but friendly :

Shiny cab :

CP 2816 in my home town , Ste-Therese :

Scary moment for the crew , the curve on this leg of the "Y" is a bit thight , the fireman is leaning outside to be sure the wheels stays on steel ...

This dude was west bound ( railroad direction ) between Alamogordo, NM and El Paso, TX one beautiful Sunday afternoon. He was running 70 mph when I snapped this. He was never in the hole, had total right of way for the unit stack train he was in command of.

...some shots from Ireland last week. yup, the weather is not fake, it was nice, warm and sunny (unusual for this country they told me...)
logo of the Iarnród Éireann Railroad company

a "Class201" engine is waiting in Galway with the InterCity on its departure to Dublin

the daily InterCity connection between Galway - Portarlington - Dublin is arriving in Kildare (Cill Dara) pushed by a "Class201"...

the same train with Class201 #226 built by GE in Canada is waiting in Kildare (take a look on the trucks...)

and the train is leaving Kildare on its way to Dublin...

HEY CARLSO ! Thanks for those photos. I used to stand on my track (M113 that is) and watch the Espee roll down that line when I was stationed at Fort Bliss in the early 80`s. And what a sound it was, on a cold desert night it used to reverbarate across the desert. And you could see the mars light dancing for a half hour before the train passed.
